Senior Analyst, Public Affairs

Position Description

Ideal applicants have experience in media, communications, federal government, or public policy. They must have a keen attention to detail and exceptional writing abilities and interpersonal skills. Political experience, including work on Capitol Hill, within the executive branch, in-state/district offices or political campaigns, is preferred.

We are currently seeking a bright, proactive individual to join our team as a Senior Analyst with our rapidly growing public affairs practice.  The person in this position will conduct research, write analyses, draft media content (including social media posts), prepare memos for meetings, and assist with client projects.  This position is full-time salaried, with benefits and paid holidays. This position reports to the Public Affairs Partners.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree, and public or private sector media, communications, or federal government experience required. Ideal applicants must have a keen attention to detail and exceptional writing abilities and interpersonal skills.

  • You should be computer and tech savvy with a strong familiarity with the Microsoft Suite, GoogleDrive, Box, and Social Media platforms.
  • You have a strong desire to keep learning and taking additional recommended training as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain general knowledge of legislation, government policy, and current events relevant to Forbes Tate Partners’ work and its clients.
  • Compose press releases, website content, and client reports related to federal and state policies.
  • Design, build and execute social media campaigns (organic and paid)
  • Maintain active communication, interface, and coordinate with field teams on specific client projects.
  • Conduct outreach to third party groups and voices.
  • Draft content from toolkits, blogs, case studies, one pagers, etc.
  • Monitor state and local government issues identified by client.
  • Provide weekly updates to clients and participate in client conference calls.
  • Support new business initiatives through research and proposal development.
  • Complete projects as requested by the Public Affairs’ Partners.

Senior Analyst, Digital

Position Description

Ideal applicants have experience in media and communications with a keen eye and experience in digital strategies (ranging from content creation, to placement, to paid strategies). They must have a keen attention to detail and exceptional writing abilities and interpersonal skills. Political experience, including work on Capitol Hill, within the executive branch, in-state/district offices or political campaigns, is preferred but not required.

We are currently seeking a bright, proactive individual to join our team as a Senior Analyst (Digital) with our rapidly growing public affairs practice.  This person will support day-to-day social media rapid response operation and learn how to execute on large-scaled digital targeting and advertising. This position includes building, maintaining, and creating technical infrastructure to run several social media campaigns. Previous experience in digital advertising and political campaigns are a must. The ability to multi-task and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment are also highly desired.

This position is full-time salaried, with benefits and paid holidays. This position reports to the Public Affairs Partners.

  • Help support the day-to-day operations and pitch in on weekly and monthly quantitative reports.
  • Analyze a variety of digital data to inform and maximize client campaigns.
  • Work with staff to execute a robust paid advertising programs.
  • Create technical infrastructure to run several social media campaigns.
  • Work with the team to identify new methods of digital performance measurement on client campaigns.

Position Description

Ideal applicants have experience in media and communications with a keen eye and experience towards focusing on state based legislation and executive activity across all 50 states. They must have a keen attention to detail and exceptional writing abilities and interpersonal skills. Political experience, including work on Capitol Hill, within the executive branch, in-state/district offices or political campaigns, is preferred but not required.

The person in this position will conduct research, write analyses, prepare memos for meetings, and assist with client projects.  The number one priority of this position will be to report on state based intel, related to campaigns across the firm. This position is full-time salaried, with benefits and paid holidays. This position reports to the Public Affairs Partners.

  • Track and monitor legislation as it relates to client priorities.
  • Participate in field and department meetings, conference calls, and face-to-face meetings as appropriate.
  • Compose key messaging and collateral materials for client campaigns.
  • Measures clients’ success both quantitatively and qualitatively.
  • Provide support to staff and vendors on client activities.
  • Mentor and develop team members.
