Position Description

Ideal applicants have interest in media, communications, campaigns, or public policy. They must have a keen attention to detail and exceptional writing abilities and interpersonal skills. Political experience, including work on Capitol Hill, within the executive branch, in-state/district offices or political campaigns, is preferred but not a requirement.

We are currently seeking a bright, proactive individual to join our team as an Analyst with our rapidly growing public affairs practice.  The person in this position will conduct research, write analyses, draft media content (including social media posts), prepare memos for meetings, and assist with client projects.  This position is full-time salaried, with benefits and paid holidays. This position reports to the Public Affairs Partners.

Qualifications

  • You should be computer and tech savvy with a strong familiarity with the Microsoft Suite, GoogleDrive, Box, and Social Media platforms.
  • You have a strong desire to keep learning and taking additional recommended training as needed.
  • You have passion for researching, writing, and editing content pieces while utilizing strong grammar skills.
  • You have the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain general knowledge of legislation, government policy, and current events relevant to Forbes Tate Partners’ work and its clients.
  • Compose press releases, website content, and client reports related to federal and state policies.
  • Design, build and execute social media campaigns (organic and paid)
  • Maintain active communication, interface, and coordinate with field teams on specific client projects.
  • Conduct outreach to third party groups and voices.
  • Draft content from toolkits, blogs, case studies, one pagers, etc.
  • Monitor state and local government issues identified by client.
  • Provide weekly updates to clients and participate in client conference calls.
  • Support new business initiatives through research and proposal development.
  • Complete projects as requested by the Public Affairs’ Partners.

Operations Assistant

Non-profit or political experience, including work on Capitol Hill, within the executive branch, in-state/district offices or political campaigns, is preferred.

We are currently seeking a bright, proactive individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant.  The person in this position will assist with the firm’s day-to-day operations, performing daily administrative duties, greeting office visitors, managing conference rooms, and coordinating events.  This position is full-time salaried, with benefits and paid holidays. This position reports to the Director of Operations, and requires a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity.

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree, and public or private sector administrative experience required. Ideal applicants must have a keen attention to detail and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Assist with events preparation and coverage for various firm breakfasts, receptions, etc.
  • Provide firmwide support for all day-to-day office operations.
  • File and prepare contracts binder or other personnel binders.

  • Maintain active communication with all Operations team members.
  • Complete projects as requested by the Director of Operations.

Position Description

FTP is currently seeking a bright, proactive individual to join our team as a Research Associate. The person in this position will be responsible for helping the Senior Director of Research and Policy Analysis and Senior Partners provide timely and accurate information and analysis on matters of importance to our firm’s clients. This individual will assist the Senior Director and the firm’s government relations and public affairs Partners, Senior Vice Presidents, and clients with a diverse array of research, policy, and political projects. Exceptional research, writing, and interpersonal skills are required. Candidates must also have a strong working understanding of how Congress and the federal agencies function.

This position is full-time salaried, with benefits and paid holidays.

 

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree, 1-2 years of public or private sector legislative or policy experience, and a demonstrated ability to conduct qualitative research are required. Successful applicants must also have exceptional writing abilities, a keen attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
