Ms. Cook is the Operations Manager at Forbes Tate Partners. She is responsible for overseeing events and the office’s day-to-day activities in collaboration with the Director of Operations & Development.

Ms. Cook also provides direct support to nine of the firm’s lobbyists by scheduling meetings and appointments, making travel arrangements, and managing calendars. In addition, she recruits talented young people to participate in the firm’s internship program and manages their day-to-day workload.

Prior to joining Forbes Tate Partners in 2014, Ms. Cook worked in state-level politics in Sacramento, California. Most recently, she supported two labor lobbyists at the California Political Action department of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO. While there, Ms. Cook tracked legislation moving through the California Legislature and coordinated persuasive letter-writing campaigns.

Prior to that, Ms. Cook proofread legislation in the Parliamentarian’s office of the California State Assembly. She also has internship experience in the District Office of Congresswoman Doris Matsui, the Executive Writer’s Office of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the Congressional Liaison office of the Australian Embassy.

Ms. Cook graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a degree in Political Science in 2011. She is originally from Templeton, California.
