Jennifer Swanson

Jennifer Swanson Prince is a development and communications strategist .

She has nearly two decades of experience developing marketing campaigns for non-profit organizations, interest and advocacy groups, corporations, and political campaigns.

At Forbes Tate Partners, Jennifer advises clients seeking to strengthen their approach to the funding community – and their fundraising performance overall. Her practice offers services including program marketing, board development, donor communications, and strategic planning. She also works with clients on reputational and thought leadership campaigns to help them reach key audiences both inside and outside Washington, DC.

In 2004, Jennifer founded her own consultancy, where she provided strategic guidance to a broad variety of clients, including the Democratic National Committee, Rock the Vote, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the American Council on Renewable Energy, and various federal and statewide campaigns.

From 2010 to 2013, Ms. Swanson Prince was a Senior Advisor to the Glover Park Group where, she ran marketing and communications campaigns and advised a portfolio of clients that included Univision, Kantar, and FINCA.

Jennifer served as former Senator John Edwards’ national finance director during his 2004 presidential campaign. She has held senior staff positions at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, People For the American Way, and EMILY’s List.

Jennifer received her Bachelor’s from Syracuse University before earning a Master’s from George Washington University.
