Andres Ramirez is an accomplished public relations, advocacy, and government relations professional, boasting a track record of awards and recognition. With over 25 years of experience in the local, state, and national arenas, he brings a wealth of expertise to the table.
Having navigated through roles in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, Andres possesses a unique skill set that enables him to approach complex issues with a comprehensive mindset, crafting practical solutions effectively. He is highly regarded for his proficiency in political advocacy, strategic communications, and government affairs.
Andres kicked off his career in Washington, DC, serving as a legislative aide to US Senator Harry Reid, followed by a stint under Nevada Governor Bob Miller. Subsequently, he honed his skills as a legislative affairs specialist with various boutique consulting firms while also contributing to numerous political and advocacy campaigns.
His dedication to public service led him to assume the role of Senior Vice President at the political and advocacy think tank NDN. Concurrently, he played a pivotal role as the Vice Chair of the DNC Hispanic Caucus.
Most recently, Andres founded and led the award-winning consulting firm Ramirez Group, where he served as President.
Originally from Texas, Andres moved to Washington, D.C. from Las Vegas. When he’s not trying to change the world, Andres spends his spare time with his wife and daughter and their dogs.
