Frank Steinberg is a Partner of Government Relations at FTP.
He handles a diverse portfolio of issues, including financial services, appropriations, education, telecom, tech, and defense. Frank has relationships with Members and staff across the House Republican Conference – ranging from the moderate Tuesday Group to the conservative Freedom Caucus, as well as with key House and Senate committees and Republican leadership.
A seasoned strategist, Frank has designed and implemented legislative agendas that leverage insight and strong relationships across Congress and the federal agencies to achieve wins for clients. He brings extensive experience in navigating the annual budget and appropriations processes – helping Forbes Tate Partners’ clients to both create new initiatives and protect vital programs. Frank has also worked on complex regulatory issues across sectors and has extensive experience in coalition management and operations.
Previously, Frank worked at a boutique government relations firm specializing in innovation, R&D, and higher education. There, Frank represented some of the country’s leading research universities and innovation organizations helping to secure federal funding and shape policies that promoted clients’ competitive advantages. Early in his career, Frank gained key insight into the legislative process and the workings of Capitol Hill during his time in the office of then-Senator Richard Lugar of Indiana.
Frank is active in Republican politics and has worked on campaigns in Ohio, Indiana, and his home state of New Jersey. Frank graduated with honors from Denison University and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University.
An avid golfer, New York Giants fan, and country music listener, Frank and his wife, Kristen, reside in Maryland.
