WASHINGTON – Forbes Tate Partners (FTP) today announced the addition of Elizabeth “Tate” Bennett as senior vice president to FTP’s Government Affairs team. She will play a vital role in advocating for clients at every level, from legislative action to the rulemaking process.

“As the new administration and Congress begin, FTP is dedicated to expanding our areas of expertise and bringing a bipartisan approach to our government affairs practice,” said FTP Founding Partner Jeff Forbes. “Tate brings a wealth of knowledge of agricultural issues, as well as a deep understanding of both the federal spending and legislative processes. We’re thrilled to have her on our team as we continue to deliver success for our clients.”

“Forbes Tate Partners has a deep bench of top policy professionals that work together and across the public and private sectors to provide real results for their clients. I am honored to be joining such a reputable, accomplished team and assisting the firm in broadening its agriculture policy practice,” Bennett said. “Forbes Tate Partners recognizes the importance industry plays in continuing a safe and abundant global food supply, and I am thrilled to contribute.”

Prior to joining FTP, Bennett has served as Leader Mitch McConnell’s lead agriculture, energy and environment legislative staffer and at the White House as special assistant to the President for Agriculture, Trade and Food Assistance, and at the Environmental Protection Agency as agricultural advisor and associate administrator.
