FORBES TATE PARTNERS EXPANDS PUBLIC AFFAIRS PRACTICE WITH FIVE NEW HIRES
WASHINGTON – Forbes Tate Partners (FTP) today announced the addition of Andrew Conlin as a Director in its strategic communications and public affairs practice. Also joining the team are Aaron Segel, Connor McKay, and Samantha Sadowski as Senior Analysts, and Emilie Carinha as Senior Digital Analyst – each joining FTP’s strategic communications and public affairs practice.

Andrew Conlin, in his new role as Director, will manage strategic communications and grassroots advocacy efforts for public affairs clients – conducting media relations and social media strategies and focusing on ally development and stakeholder engagement nationwide. Andrew brings both private sector and non-profit experience, most recently managing the Mayors Against Illegal Guns program at Every town for Gun Safety for the Northeast and Western regions of the country. Prior to his work at Everytown, Andrew worked as a Legislative Assistant in Holland and Knight’s Public Policy group, offering clients legislative, policy, and high-stakes communications strategy support. Andrew graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs.
Aaron Segel is a Senior Analyst for Public Affairs, specializing in state legislative monitoring. Aaron provides valuable intelligence on state level activity as it relates to FTP’s work and clients. Prior to joining FTP, Aaron was a Legislative Associate on the Education & Economy team at Stateside Associates. He also worked at the Connecticut General Assembly for State Senator Beth Bye, where he helped draft testimony on legislation and met with key stakeholders and constituents. Aaron graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Trinity College.
Connor McKay is a Senior Analyst for Public Affairs. In this role, Connor helps the team coordinate and execute public affairs campaigns for clients across multiple industries. Prior to joining FTP, Connor worked in Business Development at POLITICO, where he coordinated with the marketing and editorial teams to craft successful and targeted outreach campaigns for current and prospective clients. Prior to POLITICO, Connor worked in communications in a Congressional member’s district office, and previously as a Legislative Assistant in United Parcel Service’s (UPS) public affairs office. Connor graduated from Emerson College with a B.S. in Political Communication.
Emilie Carinha is a Senior Digital Analyst, providing real-time social media analytics, insights, and operational support to the Public Affairs department. Most recently, Emilie was an intern at FTP assisting the Public Affairs department in drafting press releases, social media content, and research. Prior to interning at FTP, Emilie interned at various non-profit organizations including the Smith Center for Healing and the Arts, where she offered her expertise in communications and fundraising, growing the organization’s donor list and grant applications. Emilie graduated from American University with a B.S. in Health Promotion.
Samantha Sadowski is a Senior Analyst for Public Affairs. She works with a range of clients to develop and implement public affairs strategies. Most recently, Samantha was a Public Affairs intern at FTP, where she drafted social media content, op-eds, and conducted research. Prior to interning at FTP, Samantha worked in Digital Strategy at Revolution Messaging, where she created social media content for nonprofits and labor unions. Samantha graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder, and is currently working on her Master’s in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University.
