Libby Greer is a Partner at FTP – and she was also a Partner with Forbes Tate Partners’ predecessor firm, Cauthen, Forbes & Williams.

Mrs. Greer joined Cauthen, Forbes, & Williams in 2009 to build out its House practice.  Now she partners with clients to develop strategic political advocacy on a range of issues before House and Senate Democrats.

Before joining CFW and FTP in 2009, Mrs. Greer served for nearly eight years as Chief of Staff to former Congressman Allen Boyd (D, FL-2). As Congressman Boyd’s top advisor, Libby directed legislative and political operations, overseeing teams in both Florida and Washington, DC.  Additionally, she supported his work as a leader of the Blue Dog Coalition, growing the group to its high of 54 members in the mid-2000s and advancing an agenda of fiscal responsibility and pro-growth economic policy.

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Mrs. Greer earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Birmingham-Southern College, where she graduated with a Distinction in Leadership Studies in 1998. Having raised two college-age children, she and her husband live in Washington, DC with their two dogs.
