Mauro Vargas is a Full-Stack PHP Developer on the Digital team in the Public Affairs Department.  

Mauro served four years in the United States Marine Corps stationed in Okinawa, Japan under the 1st Marine Air Wing as an administrative specialist. He also is a recent graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. During his time at CU, he took a software development course where he discovered an interest in web development. To expand his knowledge and skills, he built an entire PHP web application using Symfony. 

He specializes in back-end and front-end development. He is passionate about building web applications and websites to produce productivity in processes and for his own personal growth. When not being surrounded by technology, Mauro likes to challenge himself at a local boxing club or CrossFit gym.
