Senior Vice President Trevor Hanger specializes in capital markets issues, working with both government relations and public affairs teams focused on alternative asset clients, financial services, fintech/digital assets, clean tech, healthcare, and multi-sector transaction and portfolio company due diligence.

Prior to joining FTP in 2020, he was COO and Director of Research at a boutique investment bank in Washington, DC. In his dual roles, Trevor managed the policy research, strategic consulting, and investment banking divisions at the firm. While there he led teams tasked with advising institutional and private equity clients on corporate and investment strategy with a focus on legislative and regulatory policy issues.

Trevor began his career with eight years as a merger arbitrage trader and political risk specialist at Carlson Capital, a hedge fund in Dallas, TX and also spent almosy two years working on US House campaigns through the Campaign Corps program.
