Mr. Thompson is a vital member of the Research and Policy Analysis department.
He works directly with the Senior Director to conduct legislative, regulatory, media, and data-driven research projects by utilizing the firm’s specialized databases and his knowledge of federal and state government resources.
In addition, he is responsible for creating publishable news content in response to sociopolitical issues and trends in emerging markets. Mr. Thompson also produces memos on hearings, markups, and floor actions for the firm’s principals and clients. Additionally, Mr. Thompson works to identify and track relevant political campaigns as well as pertinent policy issues, which he distributes as a cohesive product to a 23-person government relations team.
Furthermore, Mr. Thompson supports the Operations and Development team to ensure the firm’s day-to-day operations and events run efficiently.
Prior to joining Forbes Tate Partners, Mr. Thompson was a media and press intern at No Labels, a non-partisan non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. During his time there, he authored informative pieces about sociopolitical issues on the No Labels blog. Mr. Thompson also engaged in extensive research to assist with the organization’s outreach strategy.
Born and raised in Accra, Ghana, Mr. Thompson is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio, where he majored in History.
