DEMOCRATIC STRATEGIST TESSA GOULD JOINS FORBES TATE PARTNERS

FTP Continues Growth Across Firm, Adds Senator Heitkamp Alum And New Analysts

WASHINGTON– Forbes Tate Partners (FTP) today announced the addition of Tessa Gould as a Partner on its bipartisan government relations team. Gould most recently served as Chief of Staff to United States Senator Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) and previously managed her successful 2012 Senate campaign. Gould joins FTP as the firm continues expanding its bipartisan, bicameral reach, bringing with her extensive leadership experience, and established relationships on both sides of the aisle, in both chambers.

“FTP’s reputation is second to none,” said Gould. “I’m excited to join the firm at an important time in the legislative calendar when so many clients’ needs are elevated. I can’t wait to work with the incredible team at FTP, many of whom, I’ve known more than a decade, to continue delivering big wins for clients.”

“There are few people I trust more than Tessa,” said Senator Heitkamp. “The combination of her leadership abilities, political savvy, and deep policy knowledge made her an invaluable member of my team, and I am certain she will be a welcomed addition at Forbes Tate Partners.”

As Partner, Gould will lead on client strategy across a variety of industries, utilizing her leadership and campaign experience, specifically her understanding of rural and moderate political dynamics as part of the broader national conversation.

“Tessa’s experience and success leading Democratic offices in deep red states will be invaluable to our clients,” said Founding Partner Jeff Forbes. “Too many firms hire based on perceived need rather than the professional and personal quality of the candidate. Tessa is a perfect example of the kind of high-caliber team members we are proud to bring aboard. We couldn’t be more excited about this hire.”

Also joining FTP’s public affairs practice are Britton Burdick and Kahla Haber-Brown as Analysts. Prior to joining FTP, Britton worked at the League of Conservation Voters, where he focused on renewable energy ballot initiatives and coalition building. Kahla joins FTP after a series of public policy internships and campaign experience in Florida.
