FORBES TATE PARTNERS ADDS TWO MORE HILL VETERANS
FTP Adds Additional Democratic and Republican Lobbyists Williams and Dunklin
WASHINGTON – Forbes Tate Partners (FTP) today announced the addition of Kelley Williams as Senior Vice President and Kristina Dunklin as Vice President to its bipartisan government relations team. Williams and Dunklin join FTP as the firm continues to expand, bringing with them deep policy knowledge across a number of issues from their respective Democratic and Republican backgrounds.
Previously, Williams was Associate Vice President of Legislative Affairs at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). In this position, she served as MBA’s lead Democratic lobbyist for the House of Representatives. She lobbied on real estate investment trust issues, GSE reform legislation, flood insurance, High Volatility Commercial Real Estate (HCVRE) loans, regulatory relief, and other issues important to the real estate finance industry. She also previously held government affairs roles with The Hartford, the American Land Title Association, and KPMG LLP.
“FTP is known for bringing members together across the aisle to deliver for their clients,” said Williams. “I am thrilled to be joining such a talented and rapidly growing team that is dedicated to working in a bipartisan way to achieve their goals and advance sound policy.”
“FTP has a stellar reputation on and off the Hill. Their ability to craft winning solutions for their clients in creative and effective ways made it an easy decision to join the team,” added Dunklin.
Before joining FTP, Dunklin served as the Legislative Director for Congresswoman Susan W. Brooks (R-IN). In this role, she oversaw the Congresswoman’s legislative agenda, with an emphasis on her health portfolio as a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce’s Subcommittee on Health. Prior to joining Congresswoman Brooks’ office, Dunklin worked for former Congressman David G. Valadao (R-CA) and managed the Congressman’s House Committee on Appropriations work, primarily focusing on agriculture, health, energy, trade, and water policy.
“In a town full of highly qualified and talented people, it’s hard to find the perfect fit but that’s exactly what we’ve done with Kelley and Kristina,” said Founding Partner Jeff Forbes. “They each bring deep policy and political acumen to the firm, across a number of issues that are top priorities for our clients, and I could not be happier to have them both on board.”
