Zach Williams is a Partner at FTP.
He provides invaluable guidance to a variety of Fortune 500s, non-profits, and government entities on legislative strategies before Congress.
Zach has constructed and executed dozens of strategies on behalf of Forbes Tate Partners’ clients on issues, including, but not limited to: tax, finance, housing, healthcare, and technology.
To that end, he has also secured millions of dollars in federal funding for clients – as he represents several universities and municipalities before the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives Appropriations Committees.
A Partner at Cauthen, Forbes & Williams – which later became Forbes Tate Partners – and former Managing Director of Cauthen and Associates in Washington, DC, Zach’s broad experience in Democratic politics began with his work with the Alabama Democratic Party in the 1996 statewide, coordinated campaign.
Mr. Williams has deep roots with the Democratic National Committee. He coordinated logistics for event credentials at both the 2000 and 2004 Democratic National Party Conventions. He also helped to lead grassroots campaign efforts in the Keystone State for Gore-Lieberman 2000 and Lieberman for Senate 2006.
Additionally, Zach served as a top advisor in then-Lt. Governor Lucy Baxley’s 2006 campaign for Governor in Alabama.
A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Zach received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Foreign Languages – and also studied business law at the L’Ecole Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur in Paris, France.
Mr. Williams and his wife are natives of Alabama – they have two young children.
