Department of Defense Chief of Protocol and Senior Executive Adrienne Schweer Joins Forbes-Tate Partners.

Senior Executive Will Expand Its Growing National Security Practice

WASHINGTON – Forbes Tate Partners’ Jeff Forbes and Dan Tate announced today that Adrienne Schweer, a senior executive and former Chief of Protocol from the Department of Defense, will join the firm as Senior Vice President.

For more than two years, Adrienne served as the senior advisor for international protocol and a strategist for outreach and external engagement to Secretary Ash Carter and Deputy Secretary Bob Work.  She brings over a decade of experience and high-profile relationships to FTP and its clients.  Adrienne will work to expand FTP’s national security practice.

“As a lifelong Republican who also served as a senior advisor in the Obama Administration, Adrienne is a true bipartisan. Her expertise, network, and creative approach will be a tremendous asset to our firm. We are really excited to have her as part of our team,” said Jeff Forbes.

Schweer began her political career helping current Appropriations Committee member Congressman Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE) get elected, and later came to Washington to spend four years in the Senate with Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE). She then spent six years working with The ONE Campaign leading global advocacy strategy, before leading growth and marketing strategy for a clean energy social enterprise.

“I’m thrilled to join one of the strongest firms in Washington. Together, we will grow the national security practice, help clients navigate the complexities of Washington, and support the important role American industry plays in making this country safe, supporting the men and women in uniform, and helping our veterans. Forbes Tate Partners is a collaborative team working for the greater good, and I’m excited to contribute,” Schweer said.

“Our clients look to Forbes-Tate for the best advice, and Adrienne’s defense expertise will add to our well-rounded bench of experts. Adrienne is incredibly competent, strategic, and will work well with our team. Her strategic approach and passion for our military and veterans will be a huge asset to our clients,” said Dan Tate, Jr.
