Daniel Jacobs is a Vice President on the Public Affairs team.
Daniel is a trusted media relations, public affairs, and strategic communications advisor with government, public relations, and professional services industry experience.
Before joining Forbes Tate Partners, he led proactive media relations efforts and helped manage crisis communications for Deloitte’s government and public services practice.
For seven years prior, Daniel served as a senior communications advisor and spokesperson for Congressman John Sarbanes of Maryland. In this role, he led media relations, external communications, and social media activities to help elevate the Congressman’s national profile and spotlight his work on a wide range of priorities – including democracy reform, health care, energy, climate, and many other important issues.
Before serving on Capitol Hill, Daniel worked at Powell Tate/Weber Shandwick – a prominent public affairs and strategic communications firm – supporting a number of successful earned media and digital advocacy campaigns for a diverse group of corporate, association, and nonprofit clients.
Daniel holds a master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Franklin & Marshall College. He and his wife live in Washington, D.C.
