WASHINGTON – Forbes Tate Partners (FTP) today announced Trevor Hanger has joined the firm, bringing his unique perspective from decades of strategic investment advisory and political campaigns. At FTP, Hanger will bring his capital markets expertise to advise clients’ regulatory and legislative objectives.
“Having Trevor on our team is an incredible win for our firm,” said FTP Founding Partner Jeff Forbes. “He’s got a keen insight into how politics affect the capital markets and how that ultimately affects our corporate clients’ business and policy goals. We’re proud to have him on board, especially as we enter a new dawn in Washington.”
“I look forward to working with FTP’s clients on their wide-ranging issue areas – from regulatory policy to legislative developments impacting investment strategy,” said Hanger. “Given FTP’s deep bench and wide array of client offerings, I cannot think of a better firm to join to help clients consider their strategy in Washington in a more holistic manner.”
Prior to joining FTP as a senior vice president, Trevor was president and director of research at Height Capital Markets, an investment bank in Washington, DC. There, he supervised the firm’s research, consulting, and investment banking divisions and advised institutional and private equity clients on corporate and investment strategy with a focus on legislative and regulatory policy opportunities. Earlier in his career, Trevor worked on political campaigns through the Campaign Corps program at EMILY’s List and began his career as a trader and head of policy research for Carlson Capital, LP. Outside of work, Trevor serves as an emergency backup goalie for the Washington Capitals ice hockey team.
As FTP grows as a full-service public affairs and government relations firm, Hanger’s strategic insights will help the firm drive effective, targeted campaigns that measure progress and achieve goals for clients.
